At Turning Point, we know that recovering from drug or alcohol misuse is an individual journey – one that often requires different resources and different interventions for different people. Have you got what it takes to walk that journey with our service users? Then you could help shape the success of this exciting initiative by supporting our Swindon and Wiltshire team to ensure the delivery of high quality, innovative care to adults requiring support with drug and alcohol use.

Role Responsibility

As the Senior Clinical Administrator of the Swindon and Wiltshire service, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the team to deliver excellence in all aspects of the administration services that support our service delivery. This will involve working closely with the IMPACT Management team and Clinical staff. We will also rely on you to build and maintain strong relationships with other local stakeholders. The role is interesting and varied including; supervising an Administration team working across the county, responsible for finance and supporting the clinical team ensuring the accurate and timely printing of prescriptions.

To achieve these goals, you will need a background in clinical administration and the issue of prescriptions, ideally gained within the substance misuse field, and knowledge of Turning Point governance frameworks. Add to that your first-class communication, leadership, interpersonal and relationship-building skills and you will quickly establish yourself as an important and effective member of our team. You must have a high level of IT skills with a good understanding of data reporting systems and effective minute taking skills. A full driving licence and use of a car is essential. Working 37 hours per week, the nature of our service demands a degree of flexibility on working hours. We operate out of three locations: Salisbury, Swindon and Trowbridge, you will be based at your local hub, travelling across the county and working from the other hubs on a regular basis.
