Bank Administrator
Job Introduction
Everyone’s Turning Point is unique. It’s the moment when they realise they’ve made a small, but important, step forward. Very often, that small step is the start of something bigger, but only when the right support, advice and services are in place. That’s where you come in.
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and skilled Administrator to join our new team at Hertfordshire Complex Needs Service. The service provides short term, holistic, community support to adults who are recovering from mental health issues, and additional complex needs including substance misuse, housing issues and other complex social issues.
We visit people in their own homes or meet at community locations across the area and working together we design a support package with goals that evolve with people’s changing needs and wishes. We offer high quality support to help people take control, improve the quality of their lives and face the future with confidence. No matter how complex a person’s needs, whether they’ve tried support services or not in the past, we can provide person-centred support that helps individuals decrease isolation, increase independence, learn new skills, integrate into the community and make the most of every new opportunity.
Role Responsibility
Whilst this is not a customer facing role, you will have direct contact with other agencies, professionals, and service users.
You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
Having the maturity to work within a positive framework to support the service is essential, coupled with your excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The job entails a variety of tasks, where there is always a line of support but also the ability to undertake tasks independently.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable as well as having excellent time management skills to manage a varied workload.
We need compassionate, proactive and professional individuals who are highly motivated, hardworking and keen to support a service with regard to administrative work.
We value the personal skills and interests you can bring to the role. Being a good communicator and being able to get on with people of all ages and from all backgrounds is essential as you will be liaising with other professionals and departments.
