Data Administrator - Wakefield Inspiring Recovery

Job Introduction

Fixed Term Contract – Up to 9 Months (with potential 12 month extension)

At Turning Point we provide services across the whole country which delivers end to end drug and alcohol treatment and support, family services, housing advice and support for those in contact with the criminal justice system, needle exchange system, and custody outreach. We are a specialist in delivering whole treatment system approaches across cities and county areas, which has led to the reduction in people falling through gaps between services and delivers improved outcomes.         

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator/data post to work in our Drug & Alcohol service in Wakefield, where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage.

Role Responsibility

Making sure everything runs smoothly is at the heart of our services, your duties will include general administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team which includes clinical, data, report writing financial administrative procedures. You’ll deal with a large number of people every day too, so it’s important you’re the sort of person who thrives in a very busy, challenging environment where you’re able to treat every individual without prejudice.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a confident communicator who can prioritise a varied workload and provide wide-ranging administrative support – and it’s vital that you’re able to achieve this without losing your methodical attention to detail. It would be an essential to have knowledge and experience of Excel, Word and other Microsoft systems and you will be trained on our data systems. You will need to be able to process date and produce reports. Although, time management, organisational, IT skills are just as important as your communication and people skills. Dynamic and driven, you’re someone with a naturally positive disposition and will fit in really well in our team.
