Wellbeing Nurse - Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) or RMN to join Turning Point’s CQC Outstanding rated Substance Misuse Services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Role Responsibility

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will undertake health and well-being assessments for service users. As a Wellbeing Nurse you will deliver wellbeing clinics in the community delivering Blood Bourne Virus testing and vaccination, supporting the management of community detoxifications and other harm reduction and well-being interventions.In addition to running clinics, you attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to support in informing holistic treatment planning with the Recovery Workers and prescribers providing robust governance and supporting the learning and development of others. You will be provided with peer clinical supervision, 1:1 clinical supervision, access to a National Prescribers and Clinicians meeting and allocated time for continuous professional development.

As an employee you will have access to RCNi to assist with revalidation, indemnity insurance and support from the Clinical Operations Manager, Clinical Lead (Consultant Psychiatrist) and Turning Point’s National Chief Pharmacist.

The role may involve running clinics throughout Leicester City, Leicestershire & Rutland, the ability to travel is essential.

The Ideal Candidate

It is essential that you are Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.

You will be experienced in delivering a variety of clinical interventions including administering vaccinations.
