Turning Point is a Health & Social care charity organisation with sixty years of experience. We have a great opportunity for a Team Leader position for one of our properties in Stafford and Cannock. We provide twenty-four-hour care for individuals with Profound Learning Disabilities and other complex needs. The service that we provide is designed around every single person’s needs and wishes.

Stafford provides a warm and relaxed homely environment to all the people we support.

Role Responsibility

What skills and qualities do I need to have?

• The ability to inspire and drive excellent support within a team.
• The ability to meet financial and business targets.
• A track record of supporting and empowering people to live more independently in their community developing positive outcomes for those being supported.
• Experience of supporting individuals with various needs including autism learning disabilities, complex physical or health needs.
• The ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences.
• Flexibility regarding your working hours
• Being on call to support the area team (this is paid separately)
• Willing to work towards NVQ level 4/5 qualification.

The Ideal Candidate

Building on your experience of working with people with learning disabilities, you'll set, maintain, and develop standards as part of our service. As the team lead, your focus will always be on ensuring the delivery of consistently high-quality services - all within a challenging, but very rewarding environment.
