Job Introduction

This excitingdevelopment based in Stafford welcomes enthusiastic applicants to apply for new and exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping a novel service for people experiencing homelessness off the streets and to engage with essential services including mental health support, healthcare, substance misuse services and long-term housing options.

The service has a dual focus of proactive outreach support to people experiencing street homelessness and a provision of a bespoke 6 bedroomed accommodation service for people with experience of homelessness and complex needs which may include mental health, substance misuse and physical health needs.

At Turning Point, we support people across the UK with mental health issues. You will make a real difference to their lives as you work closely with them to help them achieve their potential. You will contribute to the development of key stakeholder relationships to ensure effective integration with other local services including mental health, acute care and housing and homelessness services.

You will deliver the highest possible level of quality and performance. Monitoring of KPIs, SLAs, contracts, and outcomes, identifying variances against targets and implementing actions where appropriate will be a part of the role as well.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have experience working in mental health and/or homelessness. It is essential that you have a good understanding of trauma informed services, together with a solution–focused attitude and a person–centered approach.

You must have a genuine passion to help people experiencing homelessness turn their lives around and an unwavering belief in the ability for individuals to make changes.
