Are you an accredited therapist and Team Leader who is ready to take the next step in your career? Or are you a Clinical Lead looking for a new challenge and to shape a new service? The Clinical Lead post with Turning Point Talking Therapies Nottingham and Derbyshire is worth a further look. Turning Point support people across the UK with mental health issues; making a real difference to their lives, you’ll thrive on the chance to drive change through the system so that even more people can access support. As a Clinical Lead, your challenge will be to clinically establish and lead our new Nottingham City, Nottingham County and Derbyshire ‘Improving Access to Psychological Therapies’ (IAPT) services alongside our IAPT Operations Manager.

You’ll be responsible for providing clinical leadership to a small but growing team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and High Intensity Therapists, ensuring national IAPT guidelines are adhered to and that targets are achieved. You’ll also make sure that our integrated services are of the highest quality and fully embrace our Turning Point Talking Therapies model, which is focused on ‘Working for Well–being’ – an approach that embeds the notion of well–being and recovery and promotes personal responsibility for lifestyle choices and self– management of mental well–being.

As a Clinical Lead with BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) experience, you’ll be looking to grow a talented team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and High Intensity Therapists. Familiar with line management responsibilities, you’ll be highly skilled in providing clinical leadership, be BABCP accredited and either possess or be willing to work towards a Master’s degree in CBT. Importantly, you’ll be as inspired by our vision for Turning Point Talking Therapies and our commitment to work holistically according to need, not diagnosis as we are. In return, you’ll benefit from good remuneration, a pension scheme, excellent training and the scope to progress.

Operating on a not–for–profit basis, we invest every penny back into our care – and our people. So, if you’ve a focus on mental health, develop your clinical career with a sector leader.
