Young Persons Team Manager - Leicester City
Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to work across our YP services in Leicester city.
As a Team Manager you will be responsible for people management, partnership working, data reporting and monitoring KPI’s. You will need to be confident in your understanding of Turning Point governance and process and able to manage interagency relationships. You will represent Turning Point and advocate for the service and development in areas where opportunities may arise.
Role Responsibility
You will support the service in maintaining excellent standards of treatment and care for our service users. You will work with a range of partner agencies and represent the service in a variety of settings, promoting the service and encouraging referrals.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and engaging and have a real passion for supporting people. You must have experience of line management/supervision/coaching and a strong understanding of treatment services.
This is an integral role and will require strong leadership skills, an ability to present and develop strong partnerships whilst keeping close operational oversight of two teams.
It is a busy role so excellent time management skills and experience in report writing and analysing data and records will be important.
You will be required to travel to community sites so access to a car and a driving licence would be essential.
Essential Requirements:
- Knowledge, skills and experience of recognised Alcohol psychosocial interventions/approaches, Alcohol screening tools, and treating alcohol disorders from a clinical perspective. Supporting employee development and training programmes
- Excellent facilitation skills including the ability to lead a discussion to constructive conclusions and the ability to feedback
- Experience of successfully managing a wide range of stakeholder relationships
- Time management skills – working under very tight deadlines with changing priorities
- Experience in evaluation techniques and the ability to adapt practice to get results
- Level 3 Qualification in Training or equivalent
