At Turning Point, we are dedicated to supporting people with drug and alcohol issues on their recovery journey. Our Leigh Bank Rehab facility provides a safe, therapeutic environment where individuals can rebuild their lives. We are currently looking for a Team Leader to join our dedicated team and play a crucial role in shaping and leading care within our rehab setting.
Role Overview
Working with the Deputy Operations Manager, as the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the rehab unit, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to all clients. You will lead a team of recovery workers, providing supervision, guidance, and support to ensure everyone is working towards the same goal – improving the lives of our service users. You'll also be a key part of driving the unit's performance, ensuring we meet our occupancy and care quality targets.

- Lead and support the team of recovery workers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the care plans for service users, ensuring that all therapeutic interventions are delivered effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC guidelines.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth admissions, discharges, and transitions within the service.
- Provide supervision, training, and development opportunities for staff to enhance team performance and client outcomes.
- Monitor and manage occupancy targets, focusing on improving overall service delivery and financial viability.
The Ideal Candidate
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a drug and alcohol recovery environment, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of recovery models and experience in delivering therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a passion for supporting both clients and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the highest standards of care.
Starting salary for a Team Leader will be £31,500 rising in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £36,851 per year (Dependent on experience you may be offered a higher starting salary)
