Are you looking to make a difference to people's lives in Cheltenham? Can you see yourself providing care to adults who need support? If so, Turning Point wants to hear from you today. We are looking for full-time Support Workers, and the roles come with a rate of £10.00 per hour.

We have multiple homes providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities and health issues, therefore flexibility is essential. Shift patterns include, mornings, evenings, sleep shifts and waking nights, and weekends and bank holidays.

Role Responsibility

This is a hands-on support staff job in which no two days will be the same. Your duties will include:

Personal care.
Promoting the independence of the people we support.
Supporting a full range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or going away on holiday.
Arranging activities in the home and in the local community.
Developing residents' life skills and personal interests.

Able to demonstrate good communication skills and complete the physical aspects of the role such as manual handling where needed.
