Senior Recovery Worker - Wakefield Inspiring Recovery

Role Responsibility

As a Senior Recovery Worker you will lead by example and provide guidance and line management support to team members. You will also support the Hub Manager to ensure service delivery targets are met.  Significant substance misuse experience essential for this role as well as experience of providing line management or mentorship support.

The Ideal Candidate

Having handled a significant caseload in a busy environment as a Recovery worker or similar, you’ll have a deep understanding of substance misuse, complex needs and the Recovery Agenda.  Within this extremely varied role, excellent leadership skills and a commitment to facilitating  positive outcomes for service users is imperative.  We are looking to recruit x2 Senior Recovery Workers with excellent communication skills and ideally, a vocational qualification, such as an NVQ 3, or equivalent. This role requires a high level of administration, organisation and time management.  These skills are just as important as your people skills and client work.  You will be based in Wakefield though travel within the district will be necessary.
