Senior Quality Advisor

Job Introduction

This role is part of a high impact team who audit, advise and coach frontline managers, and frontline services, to continuously improve the quality of mental health and learning disability services provided. We offer excellent internal and external training and we fully support CPD, revalidation and maintaining professional registration.

Role Responsibility

Join our quality team and you will be responsible for the quality of your own group of diverse services, with your own audit caseload, ensuring continuous improvement plans are in place and being the go-to advisor for all things quality and compliance. In a role where no two days are the same, you will also advise managers on incidents, regulatory and policy requirements, and advise them on the actions they need to undertake to ensure the highest possible quality in services is achieved.

The role is full time, 37 hours per week, across a substantial region,(primarily Midlands & South/South West) where visits to some services or trips to team meetings (normally in Manchester) may require an overnight stay, so you’ll need to be flexible with the hours you are able to work.We will consider applications from all locations.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in health and social care settings, perhaps a professional background (NMC, HCPC, or similar) or an audit / inspection background. They will be independent, but an effective team player, with good communication skills, a positive outlook and they will be adaptable and resilient to the challenges of the sector.
