Senior Manager - Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Operations

Location: Covering the South/South East of England (Hertfordshire, Kent, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire)

Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 

 

At Turning Point, we pride ourselves in continually striving to achieve outstanding support for people across England who have Learning Disabilities and / or Mental Health issues. We now have an opportunity for a Senior Manager based across the South of England. 

 

Role Responsibility

As a Senior Manager you will be required to lead in developing and delivering Turning Point's Mental Health and Learning Disability strategy which reflects our person centred values and Recovery focus for the people we support. As an inspirational manager you know how important it really is to lead, coach and guide staff to ensure our ambition for people we support it as the forefront of all we do.

This is an exciting opportunity to really make a difference to the quality of our support we provide.

Flexibility is a must with some working from home however some overnight stays will be expected. We do expect our leaders to be visible to our staff and people we support. To model what we expect to see in everyday support. You must have a full driving license.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dynamic individual with great leadership skills with a high level of experience and a background of working with staff and people who have learning disabilities and or mental health issues.

 As one of our senior managers you must know what good looks like and be able to articulate it in a way that staff can relate too. You must be very person centered, understand the principles of recovery within mental health and be able to evidence a skill set that stands you out from the others. 

Turning Point expects its staff to maintain and improve quality to the people we support and in return you will benefit from an exceptional level of internal and external training as well as a highly supportive management team, with the aim of ensuring that quality is at the heart of everything we do.

Building on your experience of working with people you'll set, maintain and develop standards as part of our portfolio of support. You must be a strong leader with a wealth of experience an Understanding of CQC regulations, managing a large budget with a staff team of 600+ and ensuring financial robustness as well as sustainable growth.
