We are currently recruiting for a Safeguarding Lead to work in our Integrated all age Substance Misuse Service (Inspiring Recovery and Inspiring Futures), where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage.

Role Responsibility
To assist in delivering Turning Point’s Substance Misuse strategy within an integrated service which reflects our person centred values and the high levels of ambition we have both for the recovery of the individuals for whom we provide support and the development of our own staff. This is done by assisting the Deputy Operations Manager in leading, developing and co-ordinating the Children and Adult Safeguarding practices to ensure the delivery of high quality, innovative and cost effective care.
The Ideal Candidate
An inspiring role model, we'll expect you to already have experience of Safeguarding within a drug and alcohol setting. Building relationships with colleagues, commissioners and service users alike will be a big part of what you do, we’re also looking for a Safeguarding Lead who can confidently engage, challenge and influence people.
Experience of representing the Service at Multi-disciplinary meetings where the voice and needs of those most vulnerable and at risk should be paramount to shaping practice and service.
