Reward Manager

Job Introduction

Turning Point is a leading Social Enterprise which supports people with a wide range of complex needs across Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Substance Misuse and Public Health.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reward Analyst looking for the next step or a current Reward Manager looking for their next challenge. This is a standalone role as part of our wider people operations team.

The role is based in Manchester City Centre on a hybrid basis. 

Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for the design and delivery of reward initiatives and the development of Turning Point reward package, to attract, reward and retain our talented employees. Managing all day to day  operational reward activities and projects to support the overarching strategy of the organisation. As the reward manager you will provide expert knowledge and guidance for all benefit related queries and will build strong internal relationships across all stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Review all compensation and benefits packages including pay scales across Turning Point
  • Have a clear understanding of current industry norms for Compensation & benefits across the sector and advise on Turning Point position
  • Give guidance through structural analysis, data modelling and cost analysis
  • Deliver total reward statements for employees across all of Turning Point
  • Evaluate promotions and compensation proposals for employees ensuring these are   in accordance with the organisational guidance, the market, and internal equity
  • Job evaluation and salary benchmarking
  • Support with the development and launch of the organisational EVP
  • Creation of reward compliance reports and presentation to the business
  • Responsible for the management of external relationships with suppliers and lead on projects from a reward perspective across the organisation

The Ideal Candidate

  • CIPD qualified
  • Previous experience of working within Reward function
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a complex and challenging sector
  • Be able to build strong relationships and work collaboratively and inclusively, within and outside of the organisation
  • Intermediate to advanced level Excel
