Recovery Worker - START

Job Introduction

At Turning Point, we support people across England with substance misuse issues. We currently have a vacancy in Slough (START).

Running services on a not-for-profit basis, we invest every penny back into our care - and our people.

Role Responsibility

As a Recovery Worker where you can make a real difference to peoples' lives. As a Recovery worker you will manage a caseload of clients, undertake assessments, develop person centred recovery plans and support them to turn things around.

You'll enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own career too, as you gain the experience and training you need to develop as a Recovery Worker.

You'll form part of a multi-disciplinary team and work with other agencies to ensure all the service users' needs are met.

The Ideal Candidate

A track record of CQC compliance and knowledge of relapse and other barriers to recovery will be vital. An understanding of substance misuse and the Recovery Agenda is essential. It is important to have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied and demanding role.
