Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Total Wellbeing Luton as a Quality and Governance Manager.

The service in Luton provides person-centred, holistic and accessible wellbeing services which are flexible and creative, easy to access and navigate and responsive to the needs of local people. The service contributes to tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supporting people to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles in the context of their own local communities.

In this role you will have opportunity to make a real difference to people who are experiencing mental health problems such as mild to moderate symptoms of depression, anxiety and low mood.

Role Responsibility

You will be facilitating the smooth running of a busy primary care mental health service.

As a Quality and Governance Manager your primary responsibility will be to ensure our busy service is meeting internal and external standards around various areas of service delivery including Health & Safety, staff competence and business continuity planning.

The role will also include the line management of staff throughout the service in different positions so having experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team would be beneficial.

Our services operate across a variety of days and hours which may include the occasional evening and weekend.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with outstanding written and telephone communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively, independently, and as part of a busy management team.

You are likely to have a good background including experience of managing health and safety in a workplace and have experience of managing people.

In return, you'll enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own career, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress with us. So, if you're ambitious and focused on helping people with mental health issues, join us as Quality and Governance Manager and add real value to people's lives, as well as your own.
