Turning Point has been providing drug and alcohol services to adults and young people in Suffolk since 2015. We aim to increase the number of substance misusing clients entering and successfully completing treatment, reduce substance related harm and improve the quality of life for our clients, their families and communities. 

Turning Point Suffolk is looking seeking a Quality & Compliance Manager to be based in any of the three hubs (Ipswich, Lowestoft or Bury St Edmunds)

Role Responsibility

The Quality & Compliance Manager is a pivotal part of the Suffolk management team. The successful candidate will have oversight of all aspects of quality improvement and governance of the service. This will include the coordination and management of internal audits, supporting the safeguarding processes, overseeing the incident reporting, managing the customer feedback process, ensuring adherence to CQC regulatory compliance, reviewing, researching, writing and submitting of complex reports and investigations, ensuring compliance with mandatory training, embedding a positive learning culture across the teams and helping to progress the service to an ‘outstanding’ CQC rating.   

You will work closely with the Suffolk leadership team to identify improvement opportunities and support to deliver change. You will oversee a comprehensive service development plan to focus the team and drive improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills to drive results and deliver through a team
  • Experience of working in the health and social care sector
  • Experience of working to regulatory body standards, such as CQC
  • Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to process information on national and local guidance and communicate effectively with staff across the organisation
  • Ability to utilise Microsoft Excel, case management and incident reporting systems to extract information
  • Ability to organise self and others to work to agreed deadlines.
  • Being a car driver is essential as is a willingness to travel throughout Suffolk
