Procurement Officer
Based in Manchester City Centre with flexible working including 2 days a week working from home
Turning Point are recruiting for a Procurement Officer / Administrator to join our small team. Within this role, you will be supporting our 300 Services with their procurement requirements through negotiated central agreements, being the first point of call for all Procurement requirements and embedding policies, procedures and contract management through our fully automated iS2P System.
Role Responsibility
- To be first point of contact for all Procurement related queries
- play a key role is supporting the development of the varied number of categories and their related strategies
- being flexible and adaptable to the changing profile of our Service Users requirements.
- Work with Services to drive compliance and identify categories which would benefit from central agreements
- Administer and maintain e-system
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience with administering P2P systems.
- A proven track record of working within a service lead organisation which could be in either the public or private sector.
- Excellent stakeholder influencing skills.
- An attitude that is keen to continue to learn and develop your skills.
- Experience with supplier engagement
- Good analytical skills
