Operations Manager – LSL Sexual Health Services (INTERNAL APPLICATIONS ONLY)

Job Introduction

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our three services in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. The successful candidate will be expected to have extensive experience in managing sexual and reproductive health services with both adults and young people. The individual will be required to enhance our service delivery and community engagement while maintaining high performance as we move out of the implementation phase.

Role Responsibility

The Operations Manager role will involve coordinating various aspects of the project, including planning, mobilisation, monitoring, and evaluation of initiatives designed to improve local services. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and subcontractors across the three boroughs, ensuring that our strategies align with community needs and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning: Design core service provision post implementation, develop detailed project plans that outline objectives, timelines, resources needed, and key performance indicators.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, community organisations, and residents to gather insights and foster collaboration.
  3. Coordination: Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. 
  4. Monitoring & Evaluation: Establish metrics for success and regularly assess project outcomes against these benchmarks.
  5. Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on project progress for internal stakeholders and external partners.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential qualifications

  • Proven experience of managing both young people and adults sexual and health services.
  • Proven experience of working with marginalise groups in sexual health services.
  • Proven experience in project management or implementation roles.
  • Strong understanding of community dynamics within Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks is preferred.
