Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

We are a provider of high-quality person-centred learning disability, autism, substance use, and mental health support services.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior bid specialist to join a successful business development team with a sustained record of delivering excellent results through competitive bids and proactive growth.

We have regional administrative offices in Manchester and London, as well as a network of local service delivery points.  You can potentially use them as a base, or you may prefer a hybrid approach to office and home working. You can also opt to be entirely home based, travelling only to deliver some aspects of your work with us.

Role Responsibility

In a newly created position sitting across our Mental Health, Substance Use, Public Health and Learning Disability services, you will lead by example on quality assurance and internal stakeholder liaison. You will be designing workflow and governance processes across bid management activity, and you will mentor new and existing team colleagues. You will also have the opportunity to lead and input into major and strategic bids, alongside influencing market and growth strategies.

The Ideal Candidate

To join our team, you will need health or social care bid and business development experience and ideally this will have been gained in substance use or mental health services.

You will have personally led larger bid programmes, and/or major bid projects, with extensive experience of content selection, submission design and gateway management.

We are looking for an inspirational leadership style and a passion for delivering enabling bid governance that assures superior quality and results.
