- Supporting individuals to have choice, control and involvement in their care and daily routines
- Delivering care that is least restrictive, recovery‑focused and proportionate, in line with positive risk‑taking principles
- Recognising early indicators of deterioration and responding promptly to maintain safety and wellbeing
- Supporting the development of coping strategies, resilience and self‑management skills
- Promoting independence through support with daily living skills, preparing individuals for community living
- Encouraging engagement in meaningful, purposeful activities that support social inclusion and hope
- Working collaboratively with nurses, occupational therapists, assistant psychologists and project workers to provide consistent, joined‑up care
- Delivering care in line with individual care, risk and recovery plans, the Mental Health Act, and relevant legislation
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive and well‑led environment, where safeguarding, learning and continuous improvement are prioritised
