Implementation Manager
Job Introduction
Fixed Term Contract – Up to 12 Months
Location: Nationwide (Home Based)
At Turning Point, we are recognised leaders in helping people recover from dependency and gain control of their lives. By providing the right support at the right time and making sure that people can find all the help they need, we have grown into one of the largest providers of substance misuse services in England.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our Implementation & Transformation team, supporting new and retendered services through the implementation and transformation phases as well as working on innovative best practice projects across services including IT systems implementations.
We’re looking for someone who has experience of implementing services and/or changes to practice. You’ll be passionate about people and enjoy the opportunity and support to develop your skills, gain experience and be part of a large and exciting health and social care organisation. Ideally, you’ll have a project management qualification but even without that, we’re keen to hear from you.
Role Responsibility
Raising the bar for person-centred care, during new service implementations you'll act as the manager during the implementation and transformation phase of the new substance misuse service. You will be the day-to-day lead and support for staff, service users and wider stakeholders in relation to the implementation of the new service. Acting as an agent for change by demonstrating Turning Point’s values by leading by example, whilst ensuring they are demonstrated by all staff. Furthermore, ensuring the vision and model of service delivery is brought to life through 6 months post contract Go Live.
During retenders, you’ll work closely along side the incumbent leadership team, blending support and challenge to ensure the right changes are made in the next stage of evolution for the contract.
Outside of implementations and transformations, you’ll work across all existing services, supporting the implementation of changes in policy, best practice, systems (including IT) and service improvement/development. These changes could be wholescale across all our substance misuse services or localised, in response to a particular service need.
The role will be home based with a requirement to travel to services during new service implementations, retender transformations and as part of wholescale projects.
