Implementation Manager – Hackney & City

At Turning Point, we are recognised leaders in helping people recover from addiction and gain control of their lives. By providing the right support at the right time, and making sure that people can find all the help they need, we have grown into one of the largest providers of substance misuse services in England and Wales.

City and Hackney is a new fully integrated adult service delivered by Turning Point from October 2020. The service will be delivered in partnership with Mind CHWF and London Friend and there is a focus on partnership working throughout the service to support those in the local community who need assistance to achieve their goals. We will deliver treatment and support across the neighbourhoods ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach to recovery in this exciting new service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Implementation and Transformation of our brand new Hackney and City integrated substance misuse recovery service.

With specific reference to the City & Hackney contract, the post advertised is a grade 5 but we would like to consider applications from grade 3 and 4 individuals with relevant management and leadership experience.  It should also be noted that there is no requirement to hold the CQC registration as the implementation manager in this particular service, this position is held by the Senior Operations Manager.

Role Responsibility

Raising the bar for people-centred care, you'll act as the manager during the implementation and transformation phase of the new substance misuse service. You will be the day-to-day lead and support for staff, service users and wider stakeholders in relation to the implementation of the new service. Act as an agent for change by demonstrating Turning Point’s corporate values through own example whilst ensuring they are demonstrated by all staff. Furthermore, to ensure the vision and model of service delivery is brought to life through 6 months post contract Go Live.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is confident and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, who understands project planning, and has a passion for turning models and visions into reality. 

A thorough understanding and experience of change management, project management and transformation is essential.
