Implementation Manager – City & Hackney Rough Sleepers Substance Misuse Service

Job Introduction

Fixed Term Contract – Up to 7 Months

Funded by the PHE Rough sleeping drug and alcohol treatment grant 2020/21, Turning Point are part of a new multidisciplinary service who will work across City and Hackney to meet the specific complex needs of rough sleepers. Currently funded until the end of 21/22, we need a dynamic Implementation Manager with knowledge and experience of working across at least one of the sectors of Substance Misuse, Dual Diagnosis and Rough Sleeper provision to lead the project.

Working in close partnership with key partners, stakeholders and commissioners you will set up an innovative new service that will bring together substance misuse treatment, housing, outreach, GP and mental health services to respond to the needs of the community in challenging circumstances.

The role will work closely with the Senior Operations and key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the project plan
  • Recruitment to critical roles
  • Process and pathway development
  • Monitoring and reporting
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication

Role Responsibility

Raising the bar for people-centred care, you'll act as the manager during the implementation and transformation phase of the new substance misuse service. You will be the day-to-day lead and support for staff, service users and wider stakeholders in relation to the implementation of the new service. Act as an agent for change by demonstrating Turning Point’s corporate values through own example whilst ensuring they are demonstrated by all staff. Furthermore, to ensure the vision and model of service delivery is brought to life.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is confident and comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, who understands project planning, and has a passion for turning models and visions into reality. 

A thorough understanding and experience of change management, project management and transformation is essential.
