HR Business Partner

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

What does it take to become a leading health and social care organisation in the UK?

It takes people who can turn lives around every day - providing encouragement, delivering innovative services and generally improving life for individuals with a learning disability or those affected by drug and alcohol misuse or mental health problems. But it's not just our front-line teams that make a difference. So do the dedicated professionals who work behind the scenes to support the vital work we do.

Of course to operate at this level we need to maintain a high performing and engaged workforce. And that is where you come in.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join the team. This person will work collaboratively with their stakeholders, foster strong working relationships and draw upon the functional specialists and HR Operations team to deliver the people plan to enable the business area to deliver its strategy.

We have head offices in Manchester and London, which are both within close proximity to transport links. The role will be home based with travel to head office and services when required. There is also the option of hybrid working.

Role Responsibility

You will develop and maintain influential relationships with business leaders to enhance workforce performance, contract performance, business growth and foster and nurture strategic people enablers such as talent, leadership and culture, as well as develop people solutions to achieve the organisation’s objectives.

You will be a trusted partner who provides advice and coaching on people related matters, playing an influential, business impacting role in the delivery of our corporate strategy, our people strategy and our business plans by effectively addressing the people challenges for their area of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience of working within a HR Business Partner role. You will be a dynamic, adaptable and resilient HR professional who is passionate about business partnering and in developing strong, professional relationships. As part of the Partnering Team you will be a strong team player and will offer HR expertise on people management, development and organisational change across designated functional areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in change management, stakeholders management, working within TUPE environments and HR analytics. You must be professional and positive and thrive from both a challenge and self-development.
