Doctor - Clinical Lead - Wakefield Inspiring Recovery

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Lead to work in our Integrated Substance Misuse Service as a Doctor/Clinical Lead, where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage.

Role Responsibility

As the Doctor/Clinical Lead for the service, you will provide safe, effective and evidence based care and interventions to service users in Wakefield. You will have extensive experience of working in the substance misuse field and play a key role in the on-going delivery of high quality clinical interventions. You will work closely with the Wakefield management team, clinical team, local healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to provide holistic care packages for service users throughout their recovery.

You will have a real opportunity to help shape service delivery and contribute to delivering clinically excellent services.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will also have:

  • Experience in addiction medicine
  • Current registered GMC with valid pin
  • Previous experience of providing safe, effective and evidence based assessment, care and interventions for substance users
  • The legal right to work in the UK
