Clinical Lead - Wakefield (6 month maternity leave cover)

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Turning Point Talking Therapy Team as the service Clinical Lead covering maternity leave for 6 months.

Role Responsibility

As the Clinical Lead you will have responsibility to provide clinical leadership for a large team to ensure national IAPT guidelines are adhered to and that the service provides the best service it possibly can for the people of Wakefield District.  Please note, to be shortlisted for this position you must be a qualified CBT Therapist and be accredited by the BABCP.

In this role you will have opportunity to make a real difference to people who are experiencing mental health problems such as mild to moderate symptoms of depression, anxiety and low mood.

The Turning Point Talking Therapies Service in Wakefield comprises of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) and High Intensity Therapists including Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors for Depression and Interpersonal Psychotherapists. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Clinical Lead to provide leadership across the service to these workers and thereby ensure that high quality interventions are delivered to all clients.  It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate competencies and experience in providing clinical leadership, which includes BABCP accreditation.

As Clinical Lead you are likely to be someone with outstanding written and telephone communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively, independently, and with a dynamic management team.
