Bank Recovery Worker - Alfred Minto House

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Alfred Minto House is a well-established specialist recovery focused residential service that works with men with mental health needs and forensic histories. We aim to assist people who use our service in making the transition from hospital and secure settings, to more independent living in the community and work closely with other agencies to ensure that appropriate care and risk management plans are delivered.

Role Responsibility

Join our team and you will be responsible for supporting project workers with their caseload, assisting with risk assessments, administering medicine and assisting in the care and support planning process. In a role where no two days are the same, you will engage with our clients through group work and activities, providing individual support and enabling them to make informed choices about their future.

The shifts include weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll need previous knowledge of using a person centred approach in a mental health setting and an understanding of the complex needs of our clients.  Experience of working with individuals who have forensic histories would be an advantage. An effective team player, you will possess good communication skills, a flexible approach, a positive attitude and be able to adapt in a changeable environment.
