Administrator - Stafford Mental Health Supported Living
Job Introduction
Everyone’s Turning Point is unique. It’s the moment when they realise they’ve made a small, but important, step forward. Very often, that small step is the start of something bigger, but only when the right support, advice and services are in place. That’s where you come in.
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate and skilled part time Administrator to join our new team at Stafford Mental Health Supported Living Service. The service provides high quality supported housing to guests with a history of homelessness, mental ill-health & substance misuse. The service consists of 6 en suite rooms, shared living spaces, kitchen and a garden and offers a person centred and strengths based rehabilitation package aimed at supporting personal growth and successful move on.
Role Responsibility
This is not your usual admistration role where part of your duties will include a variety of housing management and health and safety tasks relating to sustainment of the guests’ licences within the service.
You will have excellent organisation skills and be able to multitask and manage multiple deadlines.
Having the maturity to work within a positive framework to support the service is essential, coupled with your excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The job entails a variety of tasks, where there is always a line of support but also the ability to undertake tasks independently.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable as well as having excellent time management skills to manage a varied workload.
We need compassionate, proactive and professional individuals who are highly motivated, hardworking and keen to support a service with regard to administrative work.
We value the personal skills and interests you can bring to the role. Being a good communicator and being able to get on with people of all ages and from all backgrounds is essential as you will be liaising with other professionals and departments.
