Employee Benefits

As an employee of Turning Point you could look forward to an attractive benefits package.
Work life balance
We’re committed to helping you maintain a healthy balance between work and home life. We aim to provide flexibility in working hours where possible, including the opportunity to job share where appropriate.
Annual leave entitlement
We currently offer the following annual leave entitlements, which are inclusive of Bank Holidays and will be pro-rated for part time employees:
- 28 days up to Grade 3 (increasing to 30 days after 2 years’ service)
- 31 days for Grade 4 (increasing to 33 days after 2 years’ service)
- 33 days for those at Grade 5 and above (increasing to 35 days after 2 years’ service)
As part of our flexible benefits offering there is also an option to buy and sell annual leave, subject to manager approval.
Pension scheme
Turning Point operates a defined contributions pension scheme which you may be entitled to join. Details of the scheme will be provided to successful candidates at the point of offer.
Confidential care
An independent, 24 hour confidential counselling and information service is open to all employees and their immediate family. The service is there to help you deal with a range of personal and work related problems.
Flexible benefits
In addition to the above we offer a salary sacrifice scheme that allows you to give up part of your salary at source (i.e. before tax and national insurance deduction) and use it to buy childcare vouchers or bikes for work through Turning Point – which means you pay less tax and national insurance.
Learning & development
Turning Point has invested in a bespoke Competent Worker programme of learning that not only ensures regulatory requirements are met but also meets the needs of the people we support. The programme ensures that during your probationary period you are equipped with all the knowledge and skills you need to excel in your new role.
